Almost 19 years ago, my husband Chris came up with the idea of producing a magazine which provided a platform for people to read about local history, brainteasers, what’s on locally, quirky facts together with support advertising.

It all started back in early 2005, when Chris and I decided to publish a magazine for Sedgley, Gornal and Coseley that would combine local news together with a look back at the history of the three areas. Not for a moment did we believe that it would take off in such a big way and there are now three separate editions of VILLAGE VOICE produced every month. The magazine has a loyal and faithful readership that clearly enjoys it – and who are not afraid to tell us when we (occasionally) get things wrong! But equally importantly we have an amazing group of regular advertisers without whom we could not afford to produce the magazine – and we would like to thank them for their continued support.
